Competition only: one performance before the jury in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein or in the Great Hall of the Konzerthaus and possibly (the best groups only as selected by the jury) a performance during the Gala Winners’ concert in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein or in the Great Hall of the Konzerthaus
Celebration only: one performance in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein or in the Great Hall of the Konzerthaus

MUSICA MUNDI World Ranking List (List available at Interkultur.com)
Choirs worldwide that have been awarded a Gold Medal with
at least 85.00 points at the World Choir Games since 2014
Choirs that have been awarded a Golden Diploma with at least 23.00 points at the INTERKULTUR choir competitions since 2014
Choirs that have received a recommendation diploma for the
Grand Prix of Nations in a previous INTERKULTUR event
Choirs that have received a 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize in national or
international choir competitions, or an evaluation comparable to the
Golden Diploma of the INTERKULTUR choir competitions since 2014
(The competition must be recognized by the Artistic Committee and
a copy of the certificate must be submitted with the registration.)
Choirs that have been delegated by national and provincial cultural
ministries or national and provincial choral associations. (An official letter
of delegation must be submitted with the registration.)
Choirs that have been delegated by a member of the
World Choir Council
Choirs that have qualified for the Grand Prix of Nations in the Open
Competition with a golden diploma with at least 23.00 points

The Jury, composed by renowned conductors and composers from all the world include musician such as Ko Matsushita, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Vytautas Miskinis, Javier Busto, Fabio Pecci, Ivo Antognini.
Non-refundable application fee of 200 Euros on acceptance for the first category chosen and 100 Euros for every additional category (for each choir and for each category chosen.
Specific repertoire prescriptions for each class of participation.
Event package include accommodation package of three (3) nights minimum. The package includes hotel accommodation in B&B, half board or full board, the entrance to all the events organized during the event (concerts, competitions) and the possibility to take advantage of all the discounts offered by our partners (museums, leisure parks, restaurants…)
WHAT AWARDS ARE THERE?
The winner of the Grand Prix will receive 5,000 Euros and the medal of the President of the Italian Republic, if given again. The winner of category D will receive 1,000 Euros and winners of categories ...

Highlight end to the CHORAL CELEBRATION NETWORK annual events
Concerts will take place in Lyric Theatre at Gold Reef City
Up to 550 singers can participate
Mostly choirs but limited individual singers with proven choral experience can register
Sight seeing will be in and around Soweto and Lion Park
Event include rehearsal sessions, outreach visits, sight seeing in the area as well as a workshop with the Soweto Gospel Choir on performing Gospel Music
The Soweto Gospel Choir will be the anchor choir for this event
Two full concerts will be presented: Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.
The Sunday morning will be a special Mass for Peace in the Regina Mundi Church in Soweto
This premiere Choirs Connect Festival is part of a 2 series event. The Choirs Connect Gospel festival engage choirs and singers, both locally and internationally, in gospel choral music, the most popular genre in South Africa. We combine amateur singers with professional groups to stimulate development in a fun collaborative way with a distinct tourism angle to experience the area.
